Lose weight, save money, exercise more, be happy.
The list of resolutions goes on and on and I like a majority of people have made my fair share over the years.
But why do we make resolutions?
And if we do how many of us can actually say we have stuck to them.
I decided this year that I didn’t want to make any vocal resolutions ie tell the world what it was I planned to change about myself for 2018.
I often think we put far too much pressure on ourselves to make these amazing changes to our lives in what I think is the hardest month of the year.
Resolutions shouldn’t be reserved for January the 1st they should be made when you are good and ready.
Make them when you are in a place where you have the biggest chance of following through with them.
You don’t owe anything to anyone only yourself, so don’t be pressured into thinking you need to make elaborate changes in your life because everyone else says they are.
And I’ll finish with one of my resolutions and it’s a simple one, one which we could definitely all pick and that’s to be Happy.
Simple but so important.
All our love
