The sun finally came out for us this May Bank Holiday weekend, and what a better way to spend Bank Holiday Monday then a visit to Leahy’s Open Farm.
Leahy’s Open Farm is located about 15 minutes from the town of Midleton, out in the middle of the beautiful Cork countryside.
The farm has been open since 1996, and over the years since Sophie’s arrival we have visited Leahy’s Open Farm numerous times.
The farm has expanded every year, and although as per their website they say it would take 2 hours to see the whole farm, you would easily spend double or triple that time here.
Leahy’s Open Farm has everything you would expect from an open farm and more.
Outside, you have climbing towers, a maze, a big drop slide and go-kart track to name a few.
You also have a digger park, barrel train and crazy golf (some of which are an extra supplement).
Inside, you have everything from an indoor fun park, to a gorgeous café, museum and also at certain times of the day an opportunity to pet some of the small animals.
To be honest with you, Leahy’s farm just has it all, and it will keep everyone in the family entertained.
So this summer, make sure to put Leahy’s Open Farm on your “to visit” list.
