You’ll find a lot of blogs and articles out there about how to organise your life and everything in between.
But, I think for the majority of us being organised comes in waves.
If, you’re anything like me, some weeks I’ll get a crazy notion that I’m going to organise everything from the kitchen presses, to making appointments for myself and making sure every meal is homemade to name a few.
But, other weeks the kids are lucky to get a lunch going to school.
Life is hard.
And it’s even harder when we put pressure on ourselves to be super organised.
The thing is whilst being somewhat organised isn’t a bad thing I.e having the bags packed well before you go on a holiday and not the day of, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have it altogether.
Give yourself some credit for the things you do get done, rather then the things you don’t.
And I can bet you won’t feel so bad.
No one and I mean no one has it all together.
So, what I’m going to try over the next few weeks is give myself one task to do to that I keep putting off.
The first one being paint the skirting boards (paint brushes are my arch nemesis), and if I get them done well then I’ll be giving myself a fine pat on the back at the end of the week, if I don’t, well then I’ll try again next week.
So, why not tell me in the comments below what task you’re going to give yourself?
And maybe then in a couple of months I might be the one writing a blog about organsing your life (she says while laughing maniacally).
All our love
